Immerse yourself in the historical heart of Old Quebec on this audio walking tour. You’ll hear tales of Quebec’s founder, Samuel de Champlain, and take in spectacular views from the Dufferin Terrace boardwalk, in the shadow of Château Frontenac. While meandering through parts of the fortified city, you’ll see some of the architectural jewels in its UNESCO World Heritage Site crown, including Quebec City Hall, the Ursulines convent, the Cathedral-Basilica of Notre-Dame de Québec, and the Seminary of Quebec. While sharing my passion for history, I’ll show you the oldest house, the first jail, and the first school for girls in North America. I’ll tell you stories about the Battle of the Plains of Abraham and the evolution of the fortification wall. And I’ll help you make sense of what you see around the old and sometimes cobbled streets. By the end of your stroll through my beautiful town, we’ll have covered 400 years of history, visited the city’s most important sites, and some of its lesser-known ones too.
